Printable Weight Loss Journal

Keeping a weight loss journal can make all the difference in the success of your weight loss program.  The journal will allow you to look back to see what produced results and what didn't.  This way you can focus your efforts on the things that work for you. 

You are an Experiment Of One

You may be familiar with the expression "you are an experiment of one".  This basically means that we're all individuals and that what works for one person may not work for another.  So when you're looking to lose weight it's important to try different approaches.  Having a journal means you can see which approaches worked.  If you don't track your weight loss in a journal you're likely to have forgotten what exactly you had been doing that caused you to lose weight.

Become More Aware 

Just the very act of recording your exercise and eating habits in the journal will make you more aware of what you're doing.  Otherwise it can be very easy to miss a few days of exercise without noticing it.  As you fill out the journal you can see at a glance wether you've done enought exercise

Having it printed out can be very useful because you don't have to fire up a computer just to add an entry.  Try keeping your journal next to your bed and remember to record your exercise/eating for the day before you go to sleep.
